About the procedure

Underarm hair removal in a nutshell

We recommend that you avoid exposing the treated area to sunlight for around 4 weeks before and after the treatment. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem for the underarms.

Do not pluck the hairs yourself before the treatment. However, you can shave them before the treatment, and we recommend doing so.

During the treatment, the hair in the treated area is completely removed – the hair is removed along with its root.

How many treatments will you need?

In total, laser hair removal from the underarms takes around 6–7 sessions. This is because it is not possible to remove all the hairs in a single session – the laser only works on those that are currently in the growth phase. The intervals between individual sessions are 4–10 weeks.
