What is a carbon peel?

A carbon peel (also known as Carbon Laser Peel or "Hollywood peel") is a non-invasive laser skin treatment that utilizes a unique combination of carbon cream and a pulsed laser to achieve maximum cleansing, regenerating, and rejuvenating effects.

First, a carbon mask with activated charcoal is applied to the skin, which binds sebum, dead cells, and other impurities. The mask is then activated using a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser – this causes the implosion of carbon particles, resulting in:

• thoroughly cleansing and tightening pores

• removing excess sebum and acne-causing bacteria

• stimulating collagen and elastin production

• evening out skin tone and reducing pigmentation

• brightening, firming, and rejuvenating the skin

How does the treatment proceed?

1. Cleansing and preparing the skin – thorough cleansing and degreasing of the skin

2. Application of carbon cream – left to dry for about 10–15 minutes

3. Laser treatment with Q-switched Nd:YAG laser – the carbon is activated by the laser, causing micro-explosions and targeted treatment of the dermis

4. Application of a hydrating or regenerating mask (e.g., hydrogel with hyaluronic acid)

5. Final care and SPF protection

Total duration of the treatment: approximately 30–60 minutes

After the carbon peel, the skin is:
