A major advantage of this premium method is the way it is administered: a substance is injected into the body which dissolves fat cells gradually and evenly.

You do not need to undergo general anaesthesia, nor do you need to undergo the more invasive version of large-scale fat removal (liposuction); moreover, the procedure takes just 30 minutes. Although the results are gradual, they are permanent provided you follow dietary guidelines and maintain a healthy level of physical activity. For even better results, the procedure can be repeated over a course of 2–4 sessions, spaced 8 weeks apart.

The procedure is safe and almost painless (it is recommended to cool the treated areas); it firms and smooths the skin without any side effects. Injection lipolysis can be combined with other non-invasive and invasive procedures.

During the procedure, a lipolytic agent is administered via several small injections into a pre-determined subcutaneous fat area. It is not necessary to numb the area.

The treatment also helps to reduce cellulite and takes approximately 30 minutes. After the treatment, it is advisable to drink plenty of fluids. It is a quick outpatient procedure, after which there are virtually no restrictions on daily life.

It is always important to discuss the procedure with your doctor. They will advise which area to treat to ensure the best possible result.

A week before the procedure, it is advisable to stop taking blood-thinning medication, provided your doctor gives you the all-clear.

Inform your doctor of any health issues you may have to avoid unnecessary complications later on.

Redness, swelling and bruising may occur at the treated site after the procedure; these will subside after a few days.

It is essential to stay well-hydrated – drink at least 2 litres of fluids daily and ensure an adequate intake of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants to help flush out fat more easily.

Physical exercise, direct sunlight, saunas, sunbeds and swimming pools are not recommended (for about a week). Within one month, you will see a noticeable improvement in appearance and firmness.

Injection lipolysis does not help to reduce or manage excess weight; it contributes to shaping specific areas of the body.
