Lipofilling, or filling with the patient’s own fat, provides a high-quality filler for contour enhancement.

Put simply, a certain amount of excess fat is removed from a specific part of the body using liposuction cannulas and then injected into pre-determined areas to add volume, not only to the face but also to the breasts and buttocks, for example.

The entire procedure takes about an hour, depending on the area being treated. The treatment can be combined with certain cosmetic procedures and is suitable for both men and women.

The treated area of skin is plumped up and rejuvenated. No long-term recovery period is required. The patient can return to their normal work routine as early as the following day.

This outpatient, minimally invasive procedure, carried out under local anaesthesia or under analgosedation/general anaesthesia, involves removing a small amount of fat from an area where there is sufficient adipose tissue using a small liposuction cannula, processed (undesirable impurities and particles are centrifuged out) and then injected into predetermined areas on the face or other parts of the body where the appearance needs to be enhanced or the contours filled in.

After the procedure, swelling or bruising may appear on the body, but this will disappear within a short time. We recommend cooling the treated area.

Some of the fat may be reabsorbed over time, so the procedure may need to be repeated or supplemented; however, experience shows that the results are usually very good and long-lasting.

After treatment, it is not recommended to expose your skin to the sun for approximately 2 weeks or to go swimming for at least a week. The effect is visible almost immediately; for some people, it becomes apparent within 10 days.

When it comes to the cost of lipofilling at our clinic, the rule is that the larger the treated area, the higher the price. Lip augmentation is therefore a cheaper and simpler procedure compared to buttock surgery.
