Laser facial hair removal

Laser facial hair removal is one of our most popular treatments – for a number of reasons.

We recommend avoiding direct sunlight for at least 3 weeks prior to the procedure. We also advise against using self-tanning creams, chemical peels or other similar products for at least 2 weeks before the treatment. The same applies to plucking or waxing – shaving or trimming hair is permitted.

A single session is relatively short and, depending on the amount of hair to be removed, lasts between 10 and 30 minutes. During the treatment, the target area is cooled directly by the laser or, where necessary, by another cooling device, so that the area is completely numbed.

A single session is not enough for permanent facial hair removal. Different hairs are at different stages of the growth cycle, and the treatment works most effectively on hairs in the active growth phase. Therefore, at least 5–6 treatments, spaced 4–10 weeks apart, are required to remove the vast majority of unwanted hair.

Even after a single treatment, it is important to follow the aftercare guidelines – avoid excessive sun exposure for at least 2 weeks and steer clear of saunas, sunbeds and anything else that might irritate the skin.

Although laser facial hair removal is by no means a complicated procedure, it is always best to entrust it to medical professionals. In many unqualified salons, you may end up with a sloppy job or even face more serious problems.
