About the procedure

There is no more effective way to remove hair from the hands than with a laser

Waxing or plucking is time-consuming. These painful and largely ineffective methods are now far better replaced by professional laser treatment, which can destroy the hair right down to the root, preventing it from growing back. The laser pulse is most effective on dark hairs – these contain enough pigment to trigger a thermal reaction that burns the hair.

We are the first clinic in the Czech Republic to use a hair removal laser that combines two wavelengths. Thanks to this combination, the device can even remove hairs that a standard laser would otherwise be unable to treat.

How many treatments will you need?

A single treatment will never remove all the hair in the area. The laser is only effective on hairs in the growth phase, which is always only a proportion of them. Complete removal therefore requires several sessions at intervals of 1–2 months, during which further hairs that have since entered the growth phase are removed.
