The laser can destroy the hair follicle, preventing any regrowth. However, the laser pulse is most effective primarily on dark hairs. They contain enough pigment to trigger a thermal reaction that burns the hair.

However, it is important to know that a single procedure will never remove all hair in a specific area. The laser is effective only against hair in the growth phase, which is always just a portion of them. Therefore, multiple treatments with appropriate intervals (1-2 months) are required for complete removal. During these sessions, additional hair that has since entered the growth phase will be removed.

Before my own abdominoplasty, I underwent several consultations with different plastic surgeons. Even at this stage, Dr. Slaninka impressed me with his approach – human, calm, professional, without rushing and without the feeling that it was just about the money. A week ago, I underwent a botox application with Dr. Votrubová. The doctor very sensitively injected the "furrow" and after a moment, but only after carefully studying my facial expressions, she meticulously administered another small dose of botox into the outer corners of my eyes, the "crow's feet." Over the week, I observed a gradual improvement to almost complete disappearance of the wrinkles, but what is important to me is the preservation of my facial expressions.
