At Premier Clinic, we only have premium equipment. We uniquely use the German HEYER anesthesia units in the Czech Republic, which allow for fully digital administration of anesthesia. All our anesthetics are therefore performed as so-called low-flow anesthesia with premium anesthetic gas. For the client, awakening is easier, and the unpleasant effects of anesthesia are practically eliminated.
Liposuction of the buttocks is performed under local anesthesia, and the treated area is injected with a special tumescent solution containing an anesthetic agent that facilitates numbness and adrenaline, which triggers vasoconstriction, thereby reducing bleeding. Excess fat is then suctioned out using special fine liposuction cannulas connected to a suction device. The effectiveness of the anesthetic lasts up to 20 hours. The liposuction of the buttocks lasts approximately 2 hours, after which the patient puts on compression garments and leaves for home with postoperative instructions.
Buttock liposuction can be combined with other aesthetic liposuction procedures, abdominoplasty, breast reduction, etc.

In addition to classical tumescent liposuction, the procedure can be performed using laser liposuction of the buttocks, where laser beams target the fragmentation of fat cells. The advantage of this type of liposuction is the improved effect. Laser liposuction of the buttocks also stimulates the formation of new collagen fibers, which is the best means for tightening loose skin and enhancing the uniform shaping of the treated area, without skin folds. It also eliminates the formation of swelling and bruising, reduces bleeding, and poses a lower strain on the body. The period of postoperative recovery is also shortened.

Vibrational liposuction of the buttocks operates on the principle of gentle oscillation (vibration) of liposuction cannulas, which are permeated with a dense network of tiny openings and very gently assist in suctioning fat tissue without damaging the surrounding tissue. The strength of the vibration can be intensified as needed. The entry points after the application of the cannulas are simply covered with a patch. Vibrational liposuction of the buttocks reduces the formation of skin irregularities that may occur after classical liposuction. The strain on the body is minimal.
A Swiss unit, Nouvag Liposurg, is used for vibrational liposuction.
Buttock liposuction is suitable only for healthy patients. We recommend discontinuing blood-thinning medications, as well as medications containing acetylsalicylic acid, at least 2 weeks prior to the buttock liposuction procedure. It is important to know that, besides overweight, it does not address the formation of cellulite.
Buttock liposuction is somewhat more challenging than other types of liposuction, yet effective. The treated area may show redness, and swelling or bruising may develop at the injection sites, which will disappear within a few days. In the area of the injections, remnants of the tumescent solution may leak out in the first 3 days, which is normal. Showering is advisable only after 24 hours post-procedure, and compression garments must be worn for 2–6 weeks, except during personal hygiene. It is recommended to apply a healing ointment to the incisions as a preventive measure, as suggested by your treating physician, increase fluid intake, and avoid solariums, tanning, saunas, and pools for about a month; significant physical exertion is not advisable either. We recommend at least 7 days of rest, with the ability to engage in light activities after approximately 2–4 days.
In the case of classic buttock liposuction, it is essential to prevent the formation of lumps and other irregularities, hence we recommend the use of wooden rollers and gentle massage techniques to smooth the skin, which only requires 30 minutes daily for about 14 days. We also recommend moisturizing the treated area.
Adherence to the recommended postoperative instructions affects the final result. This is visible approximately 2 weeks after the procedure, with the final result achieved in about 2 months.
