We will remove all unwanted formations on your body with a CO2 laser, such as condylomata, warts, and other skin growths.

Nowadays, many of us struggle, albeit reluctantly, with various skin growths such as moles, genital warts (condylomata), warts, fibromas, and freckles. Often, the removal is an aesthetic issue, but it is wise not to underestimate any lesion on the body (they can be located anywhere) and to always undergo an examination to assess health risks. There are serious reasons for their removal, as the majority of them are caused by the HPV virus (human papillomavirus) and spread throughout the body by contact, thus posing a risk of spreading the infection to other parts of the body. It is also important to rule out whether the lesion is benign.
An effective method for removing all skin growths is the use of a high-performance CO2 laser in aesthetic, surgical, and gynecological medicine, which allows targeted treatment without the need for sutures, achieving smooth skin without scars and bleeding. Our facility is equipped with the latest model of high-performance laser.
Because the CO2 laser has enormous power, a steady pulse, and is variable, it can be used for many procedures in one facility. Its main priority is the high absorbance of the beam in water and its effect as an evaporative system. The device is suitable for the removal of skin lesions anywhere on the body. The laser also has excellent coagulation properties – meaning that the procedure is bloodless.
By the way, this laser started being used for aesthetic purposes back in 1964 and today it is the most commonly used of its kind for skin treatments. It has undergone modernization, and its effectiveness meets all health and aesthetic expectations without damaging the surrounding skin tissue.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. It is a minimally invasive procedure that is recommended to be undertaken preferably in the cooler months, but this is not a strict requirement. There are no age or gender limitations, but a consultation is always necessary to assess the patient's adaptability to the procedure. The treated area is smoothed out, and long recovery time is not required, as the procedure allows for immediate return to regular work activities. The duration of the procedure is 15–30 minutes.

In addition to the aesthetic perspective and improvement of skin appearance, the removal of skin defects also has a preventive effect, as timely removal helps to prevent health issues. The advantage of laser procedures over surgical ones is that the strain on the body is minimal; other benefits include:
Conducted by the sought-after plastic surgeon Dr. Lucia Zárubová.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. The laser directs a focused laser beam to a predetermined location, targeting the lesion, which leads to the evaporation (vaporization) of the tissue. The laser beam can be controlled in both diameter and emitted energy. The skin growth is either excised or removed entirely by vaporization. The laser beam simultaneously helps to safely stop bleeding at the treated site.
The removed lesion is sent for histological examination as needed.

At our plastic surgery clinic, we only use high-performance state-of-the-art lasers.
Thanks to the technology of the laser used, the treatment is faster and less painful for the patient.

Notifying the physician of any additional health issues will help avoid unnecessary subsequent problems.
It is highly desirable for a doctor to examine every skin growth, along with a recommendation for appropriate treatment for the most optimal outcome. Skin growths, or fibromas, can vary in size and often blend in color with the skin, and only a specialist can best assess the situation. For genital warts (condylomata), the need for repeated removal is not excluded.
The procedure is generally well-tolerated; the treated areas may be reddened. A large treated area will be covered with a bandage, which will be removed after 2–3 days. Smaller areas do not need to be covered. After treatment, a crust will form on the skin, which will gradually dry out and flake off in a short time. It is not advisable to remove the crusts! The skin underneath will remain red, but it will lighten over time and new skin tissue will form. There are no major restrictions necessary, but one important point is to avoid exposing the skin to direct sunlight for at least a month or visiting tanning salons to prevent unwanted pigmentation. Until healing is complete, it is advisable to use high-quality sunscreen and skin creams with a high UV factor on the treated area.
Hospitalization is not necessary, and the reintegration into normal life is almost immediate. Recovery after the removal of warts, condylomas, skin growths, etc., depends on the patient’s ability to heal and the proper care of the treated area.
The resulting effect is visible within a week to several months, when the treated area lightens – the CO2 laser procedure activates cell regeneration processes to create new tissue for faster healing.
Every skin can be beautiful, but what is more important is that it is also healthy. Therefore, do not underestimate skin growths, consult experts, and have those removed that not only mar your appearance but primarily those that may pose a risk to your health.
