Unwanted hair in all possible areas of the body troubles many of us nowadays. The most effective solution is laser hair removal (permanent epilation) not only on the lower limbs, in the groin, on the back, but also on the face, around the lips, chin, in the armpits, and for men on the chest, etc.

The principle of the hair removal method is the action of a laser beam, which selectively targets the pigment in the hair, passes through the upper layer of the skin without damaging it, reaching the hair follicle, and destroys it through thermal action. In the case of light or fine hairs, radiofrequency waves are also applied, which do not connect with the pigment of the hair, and with the help of cooling the upper layer of the skin, it is possible to effectively remove the roots including the bulbs in the deepest layers. Since the laser acts on hairs that are in the active growth phase, about one third of them are removed in a single treatment, therefore laser hair removal needs to be repeated. Depending on the size of the treated area, the procedure is carried out at least 7 times, always with a time interval of approximately 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the type of treated area. Why is it necessary to repeat the treatments? During the procedure, some hairs are in the "dormant" or "shedding" phase, therefore the laser does not affect them. Only those that are in the "active growth" phase are removed. Despite satisfactory treatment results in the vast majority of clients, it is not possible to provide a guarantee of success or permanent success of the treatment provided due to the fact that many factors influence the effectiveness of the treatment. Hormone-influenced hairs require a higher number of treatments than is standard for hair removal. In the case of hair removal for beard and gray hairs, the effectiveness of the procedure is very low.

The gentle procedure is well tolerated, but it is necessary to follow several rules to ensure that the treatment is performed as optimally as possible. Before the procedure, it is important not to pluck hairs; they may only be trimmed or removed by shaving, otherwise, we would not achieve the correct effectiveness of the laser. A restriction of at least 2 weeks also applies to fresh tanning after sun exposure. 24 hours before the procedure, shave the hairs completely.
After treatment, the skin may exhibit redness and mild swelling. It is advisable to apply moisturizing creams. After the procedure, avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, swimming pools, and saunas for approximately 14 days to prevent hypo/hyperpigmentation of the skin. If you will be in the sun, protect your skin with high-quality sunscreen with a high protection factor. It is also not advisable to use alcohol-containing deodorants (sprays) in the treated areas (armpits) for at least 1 day.
