The principle of the hair removal method is the action of a laser beam, which selectively targets the pigment in the hair, penetrating the outer layer of the skin without damaging it, and reaching the hair follicle, where it eliminates it through thermal action. In the case of light or fine hairs, radiofrequency waves are simultaneously applied, which do not connect with the hair pigment, and by cooling the outer layer of the skin, it is possible to effectively remove the roots, including bulbs, even in the deepest layers. Since the laser affects hairs that are in the current growth phase, about one-third of them are removed in a single treatment, thus laser hair removal needs to be repeated. Depending on the size of the treated area, the procedure is performed at least 7 times, always with a time interval of approximately 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the type of treated area. Why is it necessary to repeat the treatment? During the procedure, some hairs are in the "sleeping" or "shedding" phase, thus the laser does not affect them. Only those that are in the "active growth" phase are removed. Despite the satisfactory results of the treatment in the vast majority of clients, it is not possible to provide a guarantee of success or permanent success of the offered treatment, as the effectiveness of the treatment is influenced by many factors. Hormone-influenced hairs require a higher number of treatments than is standard for epilation. In the case of beard epilation and gray hairs, the effectiveness of the procedure is very low.

The gentle procedure is well tolerated; however, it is necessary to follow several rules to ensure that the treatment is performed as best as possible. Before the procedure, it is important not to pluck the hairs; they may only be trimmed or removed by shaving. Otherwise, we would not achieve the proper effectiveness of the laser. A minimum restriction of 2 weeks also applies to fresh tanning after sun exposure. 24 hours before the procedure, completely shave the hairs.
After the treatment, the skin may show redness and slight swelling. It is advisable to apply moisturizing creams. After the procedure, avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, swimming pools, and saunas for approximately 14 days to prevent hypo/hyperpigmentation of the skin. If you will be exposed to sunlight, protect your skin with quality sunscreen with a high SPF. It is also not advisable to use alcohol-containing deodorants (sprays) on the treated areas (armpits) for at least 1 day.
